I have been such a slacker when it comes to posting on my blog.
So I thought I'd at least put up some pictures today.
We had a wonderful Christmas this year and I got a new camera! So I have been playing with my Christmas present all the time, Carter is now completely sick of saying "cheese" and only gives me fake smiles now.

Christmas time is Here! It really is the MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR. I have not posted in Way Too Long. I have a few excuses....

Logan is in MED SCHOOL and that is just out of control busy.
I have started babysitting 2 additional children so some days I have 4 kids ages 2 and under.
It's the holiday season and we've been spending lots of time with our families which is super fun. I got called to be a Mia Maid Adviser in our new ward and I LOVE it.
Carter is almost 2 and you can tell, he is sweet but definitely turning into a 2 year old.
We've been pretty busy but enjoying the journey. I have realized recently you have to enjoy EVERYDAY and live it UP!

An update on the Walter Family

So funny story about this picture above. Carter was looking at this picture and we said, pointing to Carter "Who is this?" Carter says "Carter"- It was pretty cute.

Then, we pointed to Charlotte and said "who is this?" Carter says "baby". Then we said "what's her name" and he says "Charlotte". Pretty cute again.
Then, we pointed to Logan and said who is this? Carter says "Jesus"
Then, we couldn't stop laughing.
I guess he thinks any older guy with a beard is Jesus, even his own dad! Oh it was Pretty Cute!

Logan had his White Coat Ceremony on Friday for Medical School.

Charlotte is now 4 months old and just as cute as ever. She is smiling and laughing and sleeping through the night. LOVE it!

2 months have just flown by

Wow life has been crazy the last 2 months.
I think they have been the busiest months of my life!
But, wow they have been fun and exciting.
1st. I quit my job that I had been doing for almost 3 years. I miss all my old co-workers, that's for sure.
2nd. We had a new baby girl, Charlotte. She is just a doll. We love her to pieces. She has a full head of hair, so adorable.
3rd. We moved to AZ
4th. Logan started Medical School (no big deal right?)
5th. We moved again, this time closer to the medical school.
Things have been a bit crazy lately but I think we're finally starting to slow down a bit and feel settled. However, I do leave for Lake Powell tomorrow so I'm not sure how slow life will really be. But, it will be Super Fun!
So that is a bit of an update on why I have not been posting and why I have been a bit MIA.
Life is fun with our 2 little ones so close in age. They keep me really busy and I'm loving it.
These pictures are all out of order, I tried to post some but then never did.
This is Charlotte at about 1 month, she loves laying on her belly.

This is Charlotte at about 1 week old. So pretty with her dark eyes and dark hair. Lots of people wonder how Carter and her are brother and sister.

This is a good picture to show how Carter is with his little sister. He always wants to hold her, its so cute but he doesn't quite understand that she's not just a doll.

This was Carter in Park City eating cookies for lunch. Too often that is what he ends up eating because I give up on the healthy foods since he refuses to eat them.

Charlotte Michelle Walter

Our baby girl is here! We are so happy to have this new little sweetheart in our family. Charlotte was born on June 24th at 3:14pm. She weighs 7lbs. 4oz. and is 19.5 inches. She is healthy and perfect. She has a full head of dark hair, I just love it.

We are very happy parents.

The labor and delivery went great. We arrived at the hospital at 10:30am on Friday. Then, I was induced starting around 11:00am, the doctor broke my water around 1:00pm, I received the epidural at 2:00pm and after only a few pushes she was born at 3:14pm.

She has been such a joy to have in our home. She sleeps about 22 hours of the day. She has been nursing wonderfully (which is complete opposite of Carter) and she is just so fun to hold and cuddle.

Carter is still unsure who she is and why she is still at home with us. He is pretty cute around her though. He says "baby" and points to her. And when she cries it makes him worried. We can tell he already loves his little sister.

We are so glad this little princess is a part of our family. She is just perfect.

Our new little baby will be here in 2 days! I can't even believe it. I am scheduled to be induced on Friday, June 24th. I can't wait to hold this new little baby in my arms. Newborns are so tiny and precious. What an eventful weekend it will be!

What a cutie!
Carter is almost 17 months old now.
He is getting so big and so fun. He can understand a lot of what we say to him, which is fantastic. He just started going to nursery and he LOVES it! That's actually an understatement, since he did not cry or even care at all when I left him there, but then he did cry when I came back to pick him up because he didn't want to leave. They were playing with bubbles which he's never even seen before and he wanted to stay there all day and play with the bubbles and his nursery friends. I was a little offended but I guess I should be grateful that he enjoys playing and being social. He is a pretty funny kid. He makes me laugh everyday. I love watching him learn new things. I find so much joy in teaching him and making him laugh. And I love how special I feel when he reaches for me.
In a couple weeks he won't be the only child anymore, I am hoping he adjusts well to that. I know he will love his little sister and I'm excited for them to be able to play together as she gets older.

Carter loves his daddy, when Logan comes home from work Carter says "hi daddy". It is so sweet. And anytime Carter is with daddy it's always playtime. He gets all excited and starts acting a little crazy. He knows playtime with daddy means he gets to be tickled and thrown around.

Carter loves his little buddies too. He likes to try and do what they can do. He follows them around and copies them. It's pretty cute to see them interact with each other.

Carter never eats as well as the other kids, which has been the story of his life. This picture is awesome because you can see his little personality, he's a cheeseball. When it's time for pictures he makes all kinds of funny cheesy faces. He likes the attention.
Life with Carter is Fantastic. This little boy sleeps in until almost 11am everyday! And then takes a nap in the afternoon. He loves to play with toys and balls and read books. He also loves watching baby einstein videos. He loves to be tickled. And he has to have his little silky blanket at night to sleep (this blanket grosses me out because he sucks all over it and now its turning brown) I try to wash it as much as I can but its hopeless. And I've tried giving him other blankets instead but they are just not the same. Oh well, he loves it! What can you do?
Well, we only have 2 more weeks until our little girl is due!
We are very excited to meet this little princess and become a family of 4.

Carter turned ONE!

We made his birthday a special day. I let him play around all morning, he mostly emptied drawers and made a mess, the usual.
Then we went to McDonalds with Aunt Jess and Carter got his first happy meal.

He mostly just wanted the ice-cream its his favorite food group

Carter is such a fun happy kid. He has been a really great and easy baby! I feel like since he's one he's not a baby anymore, but he's still a baby to me.

Okay so I'm a little late on posting about Christmas and New Year's since it's the middle of January now. But, oh well. I guess it's better late than never. Christmas was great this year. My parents came up to Utah to celebrate Christmas with us up here. We got to skype with Sterling on Christmas eve, which was awesome! He is doing really well and loving his mission. It was a fun Christmas because it was Carter's first and it was fun to see him get excited about opening presents. His favorite thing was the wrapping paper, he didn't care much about what was inside.

Carter was pretty spoiled on Christmas!

December was just as wonderful as I had anticipated. And the new year has been off to a great start. We are looking forward to the changes and adventures that this new year will bring!

I am 25! Oh wow I'm starting to feel old. Ha Ha, but seriously.
My family made my birthday special. Logan surprised me with the present that I had been wanting and he had flowers delivered to me. He also took me to dinner that night and then we went to Jess' for Cake and Ice-cream and games. It was a great B-day!

December is the best month I love how it feels like Christmas all month long. I love the Christmas season and I love counting down the days 'til Christmas. And this Christmas will be Carter's first. And we get to talk to Sterling and Danny so there is even more to look forward too.

Our little dragon

I was so excited about Carter's dragon costume, I thought he looked so adorable. And luckily he didn't mind being in his costume. We chose a dragon because he likes to growl a lot, and we thought he'd make the perfect little dragon, and he did.

We have been very busy the last month. Applying to med-schools, going to interviews, going to AZ and California. Carter learning to crawl- which as many of you know is a big deal! He crawled for the first time at 8 and 1/2 months and now this kid gets around everywhere. It's fun to watch him explore around the house. But, of course his favorite things to play with are not his toys- they are the trash cans, shoes, chairs, computer cords, night lights, phones (we don't let him play with these things obviously but he goes after them and quick).

Here are a few pictures of our adventures over the past month.

The first pics are from our trip to Cali with my family. We went to Disneyland and Newport Beach- Carter was not a huge fan of the airplane, but it wasn't full so he got his very own seat.

Disneyland was very festive for Halloween. It has been 9 years since I went to Disneyland but it was just as I remembered- AWESOME!

It has definitely been an eventful month. Carter is getting bigger. He's 9 months old, has two teeth, crawls, waves, laughs, growls (a lot) and at people- its hilarious, eats his baby food so much better, loves his parents, cuddles when he's tired, pulls on his hair when he nurses, sleeps through the night from 9pm to 7am (a miracle) and waves his arms when music is played. We love this kid so much.

Logan is done going to interviews as far as we know and now we are just waiting to hear back.

It snowed yesterday for the first time this year, so bring on the snowboarding and sledding!

I have a feeling it's going to be a cold winter.

Jessica is Married!

Wow I still can't believe it. My little sister is married. Jess and Benton got married on Saturday in the Salt Lake Temple. Everything was wonderful. They had a luncheon after the wedding at the Joseph Smith Memorial building and then off to the honeymoon in San Fran for them!

It was really fun to get Carter all dressed up for the event. My mom got him a bowtie to match Logan's tie. You can tell from this picture he was a happy kid that day.

Carter was going on no naps all day and he usually takes 3 naps a day.

Their cake was really cute, but for some reason it was tilted. We attempted to straighten it out, but it didn't quite work.

Carter was so exhausted by the end of the luncheon, he just cuddled with me and then fell asleep. It was the first time he has done that since he was a newborn. I just loved it!

Lake Powell 2010!!

Every summer our family takes a vacation to Lake Powell. And all year long we look forward to it, because I can't really think of many other places I'd rather be! It is amazing.
We rented a house boat this year, mostly because of Carter but we were happy to use him as an excuse. We spent the week wakeboarding, eating, playing cards, swimming, surfing and having a good time with our family.

It's not that Logan and I are competitive or anything with each other, but the next two pictures are Logan and I jumping over the wake. Can you tell if one of us is higher than the other? Ha Ha, well truth is Logan and I are way too competitive, sometimes we have to tone it down a little so we don't get too worked up about it.
But, as for wakeboarding, Logan will tell you I taught him everything he knows.

We had a blast at Lake Powell this year. I do have to say that we all really missed Sterling out there on the lake. He's usually the first one out on the boat ready to go. We're all looking forward to Summer 2012 when Sterling will be home to join us on our Lake Powell trip!

Our ward had a camp-out last weekend and we took Carter camping for the first time.

Carter was a champ, he slept thru the night.

We set up our tent out in the middle of the meadow where our Bishop said the Bears would come first. I wasn't sure if he was joking or not, but lets just say I was a bit nervous. And Logan attempted to find a flat spot for the tent, but failed and our air mattress was tilted and I kept sliding off. You could say I didn't get much sleep that night, But it was still a really fun trip.

I'm glad we were able to go camping before summer is over. I just can't believe how fast this summer has gone by. Ever since Carter was born it feels like time has started speeding up. But we have one last vacation to Lake Powell this week, yea! And then Logan will start his last year of school at BYU.

Carter Boy is 6 months old

I can't believe Carter is 6 months old. That is half a year. I know, duh. But wow it's so fun to see him grow and learn new things. He can sit up all by himself. He loves pulling hair, playing with toys and books and making baby noises. He loves his Bumbo chair and grabbing anything he can get his hands on and then sticking it in his mouth. He is so fun to have around and always entertaining us.

We had his Sixth Month Doctor Visit on Friday and these are his stats:

Weight 14.07 lbs - 3rd percentile
Height 25.5 inches - 16th percentile
Head Circumference 16.88 inches - 24th percentile

So, yes he is kinda small for his age. We are trying some new things to help him gain weight and we're going back to the doctors in 6 weeks to make sure he has gained. We'll keep attempting the formula, baby food, rice cereal, more frequent feedings, etc. and see if we can fatten this baby up!

4th of July was great this year. My parents came into town and so we were able to spend it with them. We went to Thanksgiving Point, ate yummy food, went to The Stadium of Fire and visited our relatives. It was a great week!

This post is a little late I know. We actually just got back last night from a weekend trip up to Idaho to visit Logan's sisters family. We rode horses, 4-wheelers, ate huckleberry shakes and played Just Dance on the WII (super fun game).
Now, it's back to work and the usual routine. For now anyways. We've had a busy summer already. And Carter is growing up fast. It's neat seeing how much he changes and I love watching him learn new things and make new discoveries. Like how he found his feet and now he likes to suck on his toes. It's pretty funny. We just love this little boy so much!

Danny Boy left on his mission last week. We were able to drop him off at the MTC. He's doing great and having fun and soon he'll be off to Lisbon, Portugal.

Carter has learned so much this past month!

He has a new favorite color- red- if he sees something red he will stare at it, grab for it, try to eat it, he just loves everything red.

Carter started eating from a spoon for the first time. We started feeding him rice cereal and the first couple attempts were just funny, but after a few days he started opening his mouth and actually eating instead of just making a mess.

Wow what an eventful month it has been. Carter and I spent the past 4 weeks in AZ with the family. Logan was there for 2 weeks and spent the other 2 weeks in Provo studying for the MCAT. Here is a little recap of all we did in the past month.

Here we are at the airport, it was Carter's first time on a plane, which you could have probably guessed since he's only 4 months old. He did great on the plane. He ate and then slept through the majority of the flight.

The three of us stayed with my family and spent as much time as we could with Sterling before he left on his mission on May 12th. We also blessed Carter on May 9th. Which I posted about last month. Then, Logan went back to Provo to study and I stayed home for 2 weeks without him.

In the last month Carter has learned to grab onto toys and bring them towards his mouth. He can also pull his binky out and put it back in his mouth, it's pretty funny to watch him do it. He can also roll from his back to side.

So, this picture may seem random but another fun thing I did while in AZ was chop my hair off. I cut off 12 inches! This picture was right before I got it cut.

And here is my new hair cut. It's pretty short, but I'm getting use to it. It's fun to have a change.

My dad would hold Carter almost every night and watch the NBA finals with him. Carter already likes basketball and he's only 4 months old, ha ha. We have a feeling he'll be pretty tall since Logan is 6'3", so basketball is probably in his future.

Carter went swimming for the first time, if you can call me holding him the water swimming. But, sure we'll say he went swimming.

Logan took the MCAT on May 22nd and then he was able to drive down and spend time with the family. It's such a good feeling to have that test over with! He has been studying so much for it and we're really happy to be done. Now we have to wait 4 weeks to get his score.
After getting ready for the day while Logan was watching Carter I came into my room to find Carter tucked into our bed like this.

I just started cracking up, it was hilarious. Carter looks like a little boy all ready for bed.

Next, we took a trip to the Grand Canyon with the Walter Family. We had so much fun. Here we are on the train ride to the Canyon.

My little brother left on his mission this week.
Wow, it was hard. It's such a wonderful thing that he will teaching the people of Singapore the gospel, but it's still hard to say goodbye for two years! It seems like a long time right now but everyone says it goes by really fast. Hopefully, that will be the case. I miss him already. He's the best brother in the whole world. He treats his family so well and he's so much fun to have around. I always have a great time when I'm hanging out with Ster.

The weather was beautiful today so a couple friends and I went on a walk with our little boys to the new frozen yogurt shop. It felt like a Summer day. I'm so excited that Summer is almost here. It's time to start swimming, getting tan (I need it bad) having BBQs, playing outside with the Fam, going on vacations, eating shaved ice and watermelon, and just livin under the Sun! Summer is the best.

Carter is 2 months old. I just love this kid so much! He is such a fun good baby. He just started smiling back at us when we smile at him, it's so cute. His eyes are starting to look really blue now. He had his 2 month checkup the other day and he weighs 11 lbs 1 ounce and is 23 inches. He is really starting to fill out. You can tell in his chubby cheeks. And he's out growing some of his newborn clothes, I can't believe he's not a newborn anymore. What a sweetie.

My family came in town for Spring Break to see Carter and go snowboarding. My mom watched Carter in the ski lodge so that I could go snowboarding. It was great for me and she loved getting to hold Carter and play with him all day! We met up with some of our cousins while we were at Snowbird (the Martins) what a cute family.

Carter is such a fun baby. I know he really doesn't do much yet, but I still think he's fun. He sleeps a lot during the day and not as much at night. We're trying to reverse this habit. Logan's parents came into town last week to see Carter. It was great to spend time with them. We had a lot of fun together.

Carter rolled over 5 times last week! I could not believe it. He's only a month old. I put him on his stomach for "Tummy Time" and he just rolled right over onto his back. So, I put him on his belly again and he just rolled over onto his back. He did it three more times. I have it on video, but I don't know how to put videos onto my blog. If I figure it out then I'll post the video for sure.

He's 9lbs. 12oz.

We went to the doctor's today and Carter weighs 8lbs. 7 oz. He has almost gained a whole pound since he was born.

Carter loves his new baby bouncer.

Carter is really strong. When he is awake his fists are usually clenched tight and its hard to open up his hands. I wanted to see if he would hold onto a rattle so I opened his fingers and put this little rattle in his hand. He held onto it and even shook it around. I don't think he did that on purpose but I can pretend.

Yesterday Logan and I saw Carter smile for the first time. It was a real smile.

I just love our little baby so much. This was him today about to fall asleep.

Wow, two weeks of being a Mom and I'm pretty exhausted.

Things I didn't know about babies until now:

Babies can go through 15 diapers in one day.

Baby boys can pee about 10 feet in any direction and they can pee on their own face if you're holding their legs up to wipe their bum.

Babies don't follow schedules, even if all the books say that supposedly they do. At least not at 2 weeks old.

Babies are the most lovable, cutest things in the world.

I didn't know I could love this baby so much.

I just love everything about our little boy. Logan and I are learning new things each day about how to be parents. I'm pretty sure we'll never know everything but we're doing our best!

Sterling just recieved his Mission call to serve in the Singapore Mission.

I'm going to miss him so much. Two years seems like a long time to not see him. He is the best brother in the whole world! Sterling is such a caring person and he's so fun to be around. On Tuesday morning at 7:00 am, one week past Carter's due date I was induced. He was born at 2:06 p.m. that afternoon. He is healthy and beautiful. It was such an amazing experience to see him and hold him for the first time. It felt surreal.

41 weeks!

I'm almost at 41 weeks, Carter is enjoying being inside of my belly way too much!

I have decided that our baby Carter is trying to teach me patience.

My personality is such that I love to plan everything! I write everything in my day planner, I write lists of things to get done each day, I use calendars, etc. I am most content when I can plan and things go according to my schedule. However, that is not real life. Not everything goes according to our plans and our schedules. I have learned that even more this week. I thought for sure Logan and I would have a baby by now, but Carter is just not ready yet. I'm 5 days past my due date and each day I keep hoping I'll go into labor, but nothing happens. Everything is going to be perfectly fine, the doctor is going to induce me on Monday. But, I'm just way too excited and the suspense of not knowing exactly when he'll come is really hard for me to handle. I guess like I said, Carter is teaching me patience and I need to learn to be okay with life not going exactly according to my plans.

For sure next post there will be baby pictures.

But, for now these are the cute wooden letters that Logan made for me. We hung them up in the babies room last week and they turned out so cute.

Wow! Time really goes by fast. I only have 9 days till my due date. I can't believe it.

Since I posted last: Logan and I had a wonderful Christmas, celebrated our 2 year Wedding Anniversary, moved to a 2 bedroom apartment (a much needed upgrade) and celebrated the New Year. We have been a bit busy, but things have finally started to slow down and now I feel like we're just waiting for Baby Carter to come any day now. We were able to get his crib and bedroom all set up. It's adorable, if I'm allowed to brag, I have to say it's super cute. We can't wait to meet our little boy. Hopefully, my next post will include a baby picture. I'm really excited to take pictures of the baby instead of pictures of me as I progressively increase in size.

Babies, Birthdays and Big Surprises

Logan and I went home this weekend for one last time before the baby comes. I had a baby shower on Saturday which made me so excited for our little guy to get here. He is going to have some cute little outfits to wear. Here is my 32 week picture, it's a couple weeks old because we took it at Thanksgiving.
I can't believe I only have 6 weeks left until the baby comes. I have a feeling it will go by fast because we have Finals (Logan does anyway), Christmas, we're moving to a new apartment (1 bedroom would just be too crowded for all three of us) and then the baby is due on January 19th. The doctor says that everything is good and seems healthy with the baby, a very comforting thing to hear from the doctor.

I have to brag about my husband just for a minute. Well, the story is that about a week ago he told me he was not sure anymore about the name we had chosen for our little boy. I was a bit sad because I had made my mind up that the name we had chosen would be his name for sure. Little did I know he only told me this so that I would take the cute wooden letters off our baby registry, because he wanted to surprise me and make them himself.

While we were home this weekend he kept sneaking off into the garage to work on "something" with his dad, which was obviously kept secret from me all weekend long. Until finally Tuesday morning, my birthday (by the way I can't believe I'm 24- crazy) I opened his present to find 6 perfect wooden letters spelling our babies name, CARTER.

I was so excited! They are exactly what I wanted to have to decorate the baby room with and I even got my babies name back. It was a great surprise.

Now, it's time to get as ready as possible (is it even possible?) for this little baby to come into our family. I love looking at baby stuff and imaging what his room will look like once we get it all set up.

I can't believe I'm in my third trimester! I'm so happy. I can't wait to hold our little baby. We have less than three months to go and then I'll be a Mom. It still feels unreal to me.

This week my brother came and stayed with us for a few days. Our cousin got married on Thursday so Sterling was here for the wedding. We had a great time at the reception, eating out, seeing the movie FAME, going on the coaster at Park City (I sat this one out) and playing games.

IT'S A BOY!!

Today was our first Ultrasound. It was the neatest thing to see our little baby boy. He was moving all around. And we can already tell he's going to be such a cutie, ha ha. It is hard to see the little guy in this picture, but it's a profile shot and you can see his little arm waving to us!

After the Ultrasound we went to the mall and got this cute little outfit. We hope it fits so that he can wear it his first day home with us. If you look close you can see the little beanie at the top that we got to go with it.

This Friday we find out whether we're having a boy or girl. We have had a lot of people ask us what we think we're having, however my response is always- I have no idea. It's 50/50 and that's all I know. I've heard a lot of myths though since getting closer to finding out. I didn't know there were so many different myths about whether you were having a boy or girl. All we know is we're so excited for our little baby. I've decided that as soon as we find out, we're going to go buy the baby its first little outfit.

Happy Birthday Babe

Logan celebrated is 24th Birthday yesterday.
I love picking out presents for him, it's way too much fun for me. It's great to have an excuse to buy him stuff. He got P90x DVDs and a chin up bar, clothes, shoes and a couple games. You can see he's pretty excited.

We went to Tucanos for dinner and then played games and had Logan's favorite dessert, Pistachio pudding.

My husband is the greatest. He's so fun to be around and always makes me laugh. He is always wanting to give service to others. Even last night when we got home from playing games he saw a new couple moving into our apartment complex and he went and helped them move in.
He's so excited about our new little baby. I know he's going to be such a great DAD. Happy Birthday Babe- you're the best!

Lake Powell

One of the best vacations is a family trip to Lake Powell. My family has been going to Lake Powell since we were young and we still love it just as much. You might be wondering if I wakeboarded, cliff jumped, surfed, tubed etc. But I didn't. I held back, even though I wanted to wakeboard really bad. The water was really good and most of the time we felt like we were the only boat out on the lake.

Logan wakeboarded enough for the two of us. He even tried a back roll- it was awesome.

17 weeks prego and a little update of our summer

I'm 17 weeks pregnant, only 23 more to go yeah! We can't wait to have our little baby home with us. I've been pretty lucky to not be too sick during my pregnancy. We get to find out in 3 weeks, boy or girl- September 4th. I can't wait! This is my little baby bump, I'll try to keep pictrues updated as I get bigger and bigger.

For Jess' Birthday in July, my mom came up and visited us. We went shopping, ate yummy food, went to the movies and just had a great girls trip.We went to the St. George Temple in July with our friends John, Tess and their cute boy Riley. Last weekend, we went home to AZ for Lauralie and Derek's wedding. It was amazing. The wedding was wonderful and it was really fun to be a bridesmaid. They are such a cute couple.

What would a trip to AZ be like if we didn't hit up the lake? My family's favorite thing to do is go wakeboarding, unless your my dad then skiing, of course. But, the lake is where my family loves to play. We all love it and now since Logan and I got married he has also developed the obsession. I think he may even like it more than me, well maybe.
Since I was the photographer at the lake this trip, sadly none of the wakeboarding pictures are of me, but just imagine me doing a back flip over the wake and that's what they would have looked like, ha ha (I wish).

This first picture is Sterling, he is amazing on the wakeboard!! He can do an air railey(I have no idea how to spell that), a back roll, tantrum and probably other stuff I just don't know all the names for the tricks.

Well, Sterling and Danny did it! They finally graduated high school. Well, to them it feels like they finally graduated. I still remember dropping Sterling off at Mt. View on his first day of High School. I can't believe how fast these boys have grown up. Danny and Sterling both have April Birthdays so they will have a whole year of school ahead of them before they leave on their missions. Which is great for me because I can't imagine them leaving anytime soon, I'll be so sad when they do.

WE RAN A MARATHON Yesterday Logan and I ran the Salt Lake City Marathon. It has been a goal of mine for a long time and I finally did it. Logan ran with me the whole way even though he has to run slower for me. He kept cheering me on and telling me I was doing a good job. He was my motivation.

You would think my butt would have slimmed down with all the training we've been doing but I guess its inevitable it will always be big.I thought my legs were going to fall off during the last ten miles The marathon was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but it was worth it!

Anyone that knows my little brother would tell you what a great kid he his. Because seriously he is the best! And he definitely deserves a shout-out for last weekend. He was in the State Championship 3-point shoot-out for his basketball team. He had already won the contest at the regional level so he went to the state contest this weekend. AND HE WON!!!! He is amazing. So, I guess what that means is that he's pretty much the best 3 point shooter in the whole state of ARIZONA. I was so proud of him and also so sad that I was not there to cheer him on. My family was there of course and they said they have it on video tape so I can watch it later.

But anyway, I am just so happy for him. He is such a good kid and works really hard to accomplish whatever he sets his mind to. I love you bud!

Adam and Chelsea are married! They are such a beautiful couple. Logan and I were so happy that we were able to go to their wedding this past weekend. It was great to see family and friends. Adam is Logan's younger brother, in case you were wondering.

I just wanted to write about what Logan and I have been doing lately.

Logan: School, School and more School. (Sad huh?) But, really he spends most of his time on campus studying for tests, reading textbooks, experimenting with chemicals in lab or sitting in lectures.

He really does work very hard in school and does very well on his tests. It surprises me sometimes how well he can do on his exams. I did not know that it was actually possible to get A's on tests at BYU but somehow he manages to, a lot of the time. He would disagree, but thats because he's modest.

Logan has also been running a lot with me and he helps to motivate me. I love when we go running together. He'll talk to me and keep my mind off of what I'm really doing.

When he is not at school he's either hanging out with me or watching some of his favorite TV shows such as: LOST, CSI and NCIS.

Natalie: Work, Work, Work. I work during the day for a company called WellSteps and I'm actually fortunate enough to get to work from home. It is great as long as I manage my time and don't get distracted (you know with blogging and what not). I really love my job and the people that I get to work with are great. I also work at Texas Roadhouse about 4-5 nights a week. It's not the most glamorous job, but I do enjoy it, most of the time.

I have also been training for a marathon, as I wrote in a previous blog, so I have been running a lot to get ready for that.

When I'm not working I love to go out with Logan. I love going out to eat mostly. I was thinking about it the other day and realized the reason that I love to go out to eat is not only because the food is delicious (even though that is one of the main reasons) but its great because you don't have to plan anything for dinner or take the time to make it and you don't even have to do any dishes or any clean up. It is the best! We don't go out that much, but when we do I love it.

I really do love to cook as well. When I'm not working at the restaurant I love to be able to make a nice dinner for Logan and I. Mostly, this happens on Sundays and one other day during the week. I enjoy trying out new recipes and making yummy dinners for us.

I also love hanging out with our friends and playing games and eating treats with them.

We are actually going out with some of our really good friends tonight to the Cougarettes concert. I'm super excited!

I just wanted to update our blog and give you all the scoop on what we've been doing lately.

Marathon!

One of my life goals is to run a marathon. I have always wanted to run one. I envy people that have already accomplished such a difficult and demanding goal. I have run half marathons and every time I cross the finishline I feel like there is no way I could run twice what I have just finished!

However, I have decided that it is time to live up to my goal and run a full 26mile marathon! I'm so nervous and so excited at the same time. I have already started my training, but I have nine weeks of training to go.

The marathon is April 18th in Salt Lake.

Yesterday Kelly Dell and her mom were up here in Utah so we all went out to lunch. Kelly is one of my Best Friends Ever! She is the greatest girl and I miss living close to her. It was geat to see you. I found this old picture of us from 2 years ago- I thought it was awesome.

One Year!

We celebrated our 1 year wedding Anniversary on the 28th of December. It seems crazy how fast time goes by. It has been an eventful and wonderful year.

I'm so grateful that I have such an awesome husband.

We got to spend our Anniversary up in Heber at Logan's cabin. We went snowboarding on one of the days that we were up there.

Christmas was three days before that, which was also fabulous. It's great having two families to share Christmas with.

We love coming home to AZ and hanging out with our families, but we're glad for the experiences we're having up here in Utah on our own.

We miss our families already, Love you guys!

Thanksgiving in AZ

I love the annual Thanksgivng day Turkey Trot. This year Jessica ran it with me. It's a little over 6 miles and takes about an hour to run it. Every year a bunch of my girlfriends pass out water to the runners and when we run by they always cheer us on, it's great. I love the feeling I get after finishing a long run, it's the best high!

Here are some Pictures from Thanksgivng Day! Everyone in the kitchen helping out and Sterling and the cousins watching football (of course). I love Thanksgiving. You get to eat all the yummy food you want and you don't even have to feel bad about it because that's what you're suppose to do on Thanksgiving. We also had a lot of fun playing cards that night with our cousins.

So, Friday night we went to the movies as a family. The four of us all decided to sit on the middle bench of the car. As you can tell by these pictures we got a little bored, or we are just totally weird becuase we started taking goofy pictures. It was pretty funny to take a picture and then look at it and laugh about how crazy each persons face looked. It was great spending time with the fam.

I got to see Kelly and Alecia while I was in AZ!!! I love these girls. They have the cutest little boys in the world. The boys are already little buddies. They both have bright blue eyes. So Adorable. It was great to get together and catch up. I miss living close to you both.

Life is Great!

This weekend was really fun. I didn't have to work on Friday night, which is a rare occassion so we went to my cousin Kyler's reception. Jess came too, which is always fun to hang out with her. She usually comes over on Sunday's for dinner and we get to catch up with each other about our busy lives. We get to hear about the different boys she goes out with and all that fun gossip.

After the reception we went bowling with our friends John & Tess. Then, we played Settlers of Catan until 2am, I guess we're a little addicted to that game.

We're looking forward to Thanksgiving break! We get to come home to Mesa for a few days and visit our families and friends and get out the cold. Yes, it has already snowed here.

Happy Halloween

So, Logan and I bought these masks about 10 min. before our ward Halloween party started. It's hard for me to get into Halloween without having kids to get all dressed up cute. Once we have kids I think I'll get more into Halloween. Logan and I went to our ward party for a little while. Then, we hung out with our fun new friends from our ward. We got pizza and played Settlers of Catan (Logan's favorite game, I never win so I don't like it as much) and then we went to the dollar movie. The dollar movie in Provo is the best because it really only costs a dollar. We had a really great Halloween. It was our first Halloween together!

GO BYU!!!

We finally got to go to a BYU Football game. We were so excited. Jess and her roommate gave us their tickets and so last Saturday we went to the game. I really like going to the games. I figure since we live so close to campus, Logan is a student and I use to be a student we need to have more school spirit. It's really sad because I don't even know the fight song. Oh well. I still love BYU.

General Conference Weekend

I love General Conference so much. Logan and I were able to get tickets to the Saturday afternoon session. Jessica came with us too. We had a great time even though we were all the way up in the balcony. I told Logan someday we'll be VIP and actually get to watch it from the lower level. Logan and some of his friends got into the Priesthood session also. They just held signs that said "I need a ticket" and people came up and gave them tickets. People are all so nice at conference.

I love Salt Lake. It's fun to get away from Provo and go into the city. Temple square is amazing. It did rain on us the whole day but we still had a great time!

Don't you all just love Elder Wirthlin? He seems like the sweetest man. I loved his talk about laughing when hard things come our way. I definitely need to do a better job at that. Life is too short and we're always going to have hard times so we might as well make the best of it!

Busy Life

This is Logan on his 1st day back to school. He thought I was such a dork for wanting to take his "1st day of school picture", I know he's in college but oh well he looked good and had on new school clothes from his birthday so I wanted to take his picture. He has the look on his face of, Are you really taking my picture right now? So, even though he can think I'm the dork for taking his picture- he has his schedule in his hand and I told him that only Freshman are aloud to walk around campus with their schedules in hand.

Life has been very busy lately, but I love it. Logan started school again and is working super hard as usual. He's so smart it drives me crazy. He had his first test of the school year and got a 94% on it. I can't remember if I ever got a 94 on any test at BYU. I tell Logan that he is one of those kids in school that I was always jealous of. He is one of those students that can just read over the material and understand everything that he read, I definitely was not that gifted.

I just recently got a new job. I had written previously about my fun job with my own office and computer and all that exciting stuff. Well, it ended up not turning out as grand as I had hoped. However, I am so lucky because the job that I've been wanting since graduating college was offered to me last week. So, I was able to quit my job at Total Health and Fitness and now I work for a Corporate Wellness company called WellSteps. It is a great company, I get to work with awesome people and the best part about it is- I get to work from home. I have a good feeling that this job is going to work out great for Logan and I at this time and I am excited that I get to work in Corporate Wellness.

Sorry if this is boring and I'm just talking about myself, but work has been the most recent thing occupying my time. A little lame I know.

Logan and I really are fun people. Life gets busy though and I need to stop and remember what is most important. My husband and family. I love getting to spend time with Logan even if we just go get five dollar pizza from little caesars (it's Logans favorite) and watch a movie together. I don't want to turn into a boring married couple so I've been trying to think of fun things that Logan and I can do for date nights. If you have any ideas, I'm definitely up for suggestions.

There's No Place like Home

For Labor Day weekend we went home to Arizona. We went to the lake 3 times and went wakeboarding and had such a fun time with our families.

We also got to go to Logan's cabin in Heber. His mom and sister came too and our cute little nieces were there. They are so entertaining. Savannah always says the funniest things and made us laugh the whole time. His cabin is awesome. Logan's dad built most of it himself- pretty impressive. I'm looking forward to the next trip up there when his whole family can come. This picture is me and Savannah and Mikenna on the porch of the cabin.

So, it was Logan's 23rd B-day last Thursday. We celebrated it before we went home to Mesa and then we celebrated again at home. It was great. We had some friends over for dessert. I don't really have a baby even though it may look like it in this picture. This is Brecken, Kelly's cute little boy. I love getting to hold him.

For his B-day Logan got some new clothes, a bright green sweater that he's been wanting to go with his snowboarding clothes, and cologne and a CSI dvd game. I love picking out presents for him and surprising him. I also made him this cake or I guess you would call it an ice-cream pie. It's his favorite dessert and then I wrote happy birthday on it with oreos. I guess I kind of wrote Happy Birthd..... it's hard to read but oh well, it tasted delicious.

New Job!!

Well, I have been looking for a job since getting back here to Provo and the search has been tough, to the say the least. However, I was able to find two jobs that I'm really excited about. I am working as a personal trainer in the mornings at Personal Fitness Systems. Then, I also work at Total Health and Fitness as an Exercise and Nutrition consultant. I'm happy to be working and doing something related to my degree in Exercise Science. If you want to see the Total Health and Fitness Website go to thfonline.com. Working there makes me feel like an adult because they give me my own office. I never thought I'd have a job with a real office just for me. It's kind of fun.

So, that is what I've been up to lately and Logan has been working for my uncle at Lifestyle Electronics in Park City installing tvs, phones, home theatres and all that cool stuff that I hope someday we can have in our house too. Logan is starting school again at the Y in a couple weeks and his 23rd Birthday is next week on the 28th!

Park City

Logan and I moved back to Provo now and are trying to make it as much fun as possible. We hiked to the Y for the first time. I know I've lived in Provo for a long time and just never hiked up there, but I finally did it and the view was amazing. We also went to Deer Creek lake last week and had a BBQ. Then, this past weekend my mom came up and hung out with us. We went to Park City on Saturday and checked out the Art Fair and we went to Granny's in Heber (they have the best ice-cream shakes in the world). We also did the Alpine Slide, Zip line and the Coaster in Park City.

Park City is gorgeous. We had such a fun time and it was great to spend the weekend with my mom!

Logan and I got to spend a day together in New York City. We rented bikes and rode them around Central Park. It was such a blast.

This is the Castle in the middle of Central Park. I have never seen so much green grass and trees. I'm use to the dessert, so I thought the park was gorgeous. There is even a big lake in the middle of it and an awesome running trail all the way around.

We went downtown to see the World Trade Center Memorial and the Statue of Liberty. We didn't go out to the island to see the statue up close, otherwise my picture would have been a lot better but at least we could see it from the dock and now we know it really exists.

We also went and found the Manhattan temple. It's so crazy because it just blends in with the other buildings because they're all connected.

We had such a great day. New York is an exciting, crowded, super busy place but so much fun!

Logan and I were lucky enough to get to go home to Mesa and spend a week with our families. Logan's brother Adam came home from his mission in Bolivia so we were there for his Homecoming and Mother's day which were on the same day. It was so much fun and so hard to leave again. We miss you guys, you are the best! Thanks for such a fun week and it was great to finally meet you Adam.

While we were home my sister Nicole graduated from MCC in Child Care. She's so awesome. Logan was there too, he's the one taking the picture.

This is Logan and his younger brother Adam (in the white shirt, he's the one who just got home from Bolivia, and I had never met him) they're spending quality time together playing nintendo. I guess it's a guy thing because I don't understand.

BYU GRADUATION

Graduation was fun Logan was there, of course. My parents also flew up and came. It was fun spending time with them. Thanks mom and dad it was great. I can't believe school is really over. I have had such a great time and I can honestly say that I loved my experience at BYU. My freshmen year I would have never said that. I thought everyone was weird and the school was just out-of-control hard, but I learned to appreciate it and I can say that I've really learned a lot and had a great experience.

Salt Lake City Half Marathon

My mom and I ran in the Salt Lake Half Marathon on Saturday. It was a lot of fun running with my mom. She flew up on Friday and then we did the race on Saturday. We decided our next goal is to run a full marathon. Someday. Hopefully soon. My mom is the best, it was so great to see her. We spent the rest of the day playing and we went shopping and ate at one of my most favorite restaurants- Cheesecake Factory. What a fun Day! However, I can certainly feel the consequences today from running 13 miles. My legs have a hard time going upstairs. Oh well, it was totally worth it.

Life in Provo

Okay, so I know I'm new at this whole Blogging thing but I'll try to be better and actually post new stuff. It's been a lot of fun being married and having our own little apartment. I love decorating it and getting new things to make it look as cute as I can. It's hard to do anything too spectacular, but I make frequent trips to target and enjoy spending our wedding gift cards on stuff for our apartment. School is almost over for us! Today was our last day of classes and now finals start on Friday. Yea! Finals are my favorite thing in the whole world. I'm obviously not serious but this time I'm actually a little bit excited because once finals are over that means I'm done with school for good, most likely anyway. I'm graduating on the 25th of this month. But, I still feel like a little kid. Time really flies.

For some reason it snowed today. Yes, snowed. I know its April 15th and it doesn't make sense. I'm hoping that today was the last day it will snow until next winter, but you can never really tell.

I know I'm writing random things. I have a confession. I am a big American Idol fan, at least this season anyway. I love the cute Mormon boy, David Archuleta. I also like Brooke because she's from Mesa. Anyone else a fan of the show? My husband and I also really like LOST. Well, Logan got me started watching it and it's really good and intense. My advice to anyone that is in school or busy, I'm assuming I'm talking to everyone, don't buy TV shows on DVD. They just suck you right in and for some reason you can't stop watching them. Somehow as soon as one episode ends another one begins and you just have to watch the next one and the next one and then eventually you realize how late it is. Well that's a little update on our life here in Provo.
