Every summer our family takes a vacation to Lake Powell. And all year long we look forward to it, because I can't really think of many other places I'd rather be! It is amazing.
We rented a house boat this year, mostly because of Carter but we were happy to use him as an excuse. We spent the week wakeboarding, eating, playing cards, swimming, surfing and having a good time with our family.

It's not that Logan and I are competitive or anything with each other, but the next two pictures are Logan and I jumping over the wake. Can you tell if one of us is higher than the other? Ha Ha, well truth is Logan and I are way too competitive, sometimes we have to tone it down a little so we don't get too worked up about it.But, as for wakeboarding, Logan will tell you I taught him everything he knows.

We had a blast at Lake Powell this year. I do have to say that we all really missed Sterling out there on the lake. He's usually the first one out on the boat ready to go. We're all looking forward to Summer 2012 when Sterling will be home to join us on our Lake Powell trip!

I was soo good talking to you yesterday. I've missed you!! I can't get over how stinkin cute Carter is. What a fun trip to Lake Powell, I'm so jealous!! Hopefully you'll come down in October!
