Carter's 1st Birthday

Carter turned ONE!

We made his birthday a special day. I let him play around all morning, he mostly emptied drawers and made a mess, the usual.
Then we went to McDonalds with Aunt Jess and Carter got his first happy meal.

He mostly just wanted the ice-cream its his favorite food group

Carter is such a fun happy kid. He has been a really great and easy baby! I feel like since he's one he's not a baby anymore, but he's still a baby to me.

Later on Carter opened his presents. He always has the most fun with the boxes and wrapping paper.

Carter really liked his candle, but he was a lot less interested in the cupcake without it

We hoped he'd eat his cupcake and make a mess, but instead Logan put the frosting around his mouth and then Carter wiped his face and got the frosting everywhere. That is the only reason he is messy, he didn't eat a single bite of the cupcake. He is such a picky eater.
